Made for More: A Shared Journey

Let’s take a walk!

Walking requires fixing our eyes on our destination and those walking with us. Made for More: A Shared Journey is an eight-week Bible study written for women third grade and up to direct our eyes on Jesus Christ, our Guide, and the eternal joy of life with Him. Look around to see the other women-older, younger, peers—whom God has placed in your life and church community to walk with you. This eight-week Bible study, like your life’s journey, is not meant to be walked alone. It is designed to equip you to embark in a shared journey toward a better understanding of creation design, gospel identity, and intergenerational friendships. You could do it pre or post conference.

Truth for My Twenty-Year-Old Self is a podcast series that offers a rear-view window perspective on various topics such as shame, guilt, body image, and intergenerational friendships. We hope that older and younger women will use these questions to spend time together talking about these issues. We have also provided a Truth for my Truth Twenty-year-old Self Resource showing how you can replicate these conversations at your church.

We are just walking each other Home so I encourage you and a friend to listen to this podcast together. Set a time during the week to discuss the episode questions as you grab a cup of coffee, connect over the phone, or maybe even take a walk together. We have also provided a Coffee Questions and X-ray Questions resources to cultivate heart-centered questions.

Road Trip Connection Cards

1. Print Connection Cards for Made for More intergenerational conversations in the car, in hotel rooms, or to begin Shared Journey Bible Study.
2. Cut along dotted lines, punch holes, and loop together (yard, binder ring, pipe cleaner) for a booklet you can pass around to take turns reading.
3. The first question of each card is an ice breaker, the second question is more factual, and the third question is more about the heart. You can answer as many as you feel comfortable with on each card.
