Join a chorus of voices that will crescendo around Jesus’ Upper Room Discourse which contains His final words to the disciples before His death on the cross. John 13-17 unfolds over a few evening hours. It is 155 verses and contains less than 4,000 words. And Thomas Goodwin called it a “window in Christ’s heart.”
Jesus knew His disciples would be confused and saddened when He died. He knew that after He rose from the grave and ascended into heaven that they would likely feel unanchored. He wanted to prepare them for what was to come. He taught them how to love and serve the church. These are the LAST WORDS for all of us to LIVE BY.
We believe that now more than ever we need to marinate in these truths. January to March 2022, we hope to center our hearts and minds around these texts leading up to Holy Week. It will also be our primary text for LT 2022, Vitality: Cultivating the Inner Life of a Leader. We are offering you a free Devotional written by our National Team, Abide in Me: 31 Days with Jesus and the Upper Room Discourse.
