Kim Barnes
Kim serves as the Women’s Ministry Director at Westtown Church (PCA) in Tampa, Fla. She has a passion for training, teaching, and serving women in the church and especially delights in leading women’s Bible studies and mentoring younger women. Kim’s husband Robert is a PCA teaching elder. Together, they are blessed with two adult children (a daughter and a son) and a son-in-law. Kim loved homeschooling her children and misses it a little bit each fall when the new school year comes around. In addition to church and parachurch ministry, Kim and Robert are living with and caring for Kim’s aging mother.
Bethany Belue
Bethany is on staff with CDM serving in various roles within Children’s Ministry. Before coming on staff at CDM, she served as the Children’s Director at Redeemer PCA in New York City and Oak Mountain PCA in Birmingham, AL. She currently lives in Mobile, AL with her husband, Dustin, who is the assistant pastor at Grace Community Church PCA. In addition to discipling her own children, Patterson and Neely, she enjoys serving on the women’s ministry team at church and discipling younger women and children. Her passion is to help others walk with Jesus all of their days and prayerfully be used to grow and deepen the kingdom the God.
Marissa Bondurant
Marissa, her husband Rob and their four girls are members of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, TX. Having walked through childhood cancer with her second daughter, Marissa now writes to encourage weary caregivers to know they are cared for by Jesus, their friends, and their local churches. When she’s not at doctor appointments you might find her learning to enjoy camping, cleaning up her daughters’ artistic endeavors, or trying to convince someone to play a board game with her. Maria Currey
Maria is the Women’s Ministry Director at Northeast Presbyterian Church in Columbia, South Carolina. Married to Craig, they spent the majority of their 36 years of marriage traveling the world with their, now, three grown children who have blessed them with five growing grandchildren! Upon U.S. Army retirement, they settled and stayed in Columbia to work and be near family. Maria previously served in local and international roles within Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC), a military women’s ministry. She served in the Music department at NEPC as pianist, and hand bell and orchestra director. Maria is the author of the Bible study Understanding Wisdom, loves to study and teach the Word, to share scrumptious lunches and Jesus-inspirations with other women, to explore God’s wonders with her grandchildren, and to read ALL the books!
Jamye Doerfler
Jamye holds her B.A. in English from Grove City College and her M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is the wife of Peter, pastor at Redemption Hill Church in Pittsburgh, PA, and mother of three boys. She is the author of The Advent Investigator: A Fact-Finding Devotional for Students and Their Families. Ellen Dykas
Ellen received her MA in Biblical Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary and a graduate certificate in biblical Counseling from the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation. She serves as the Director of Equipping for Ministry to Women for Harvest USA, a national ministry focused on gospel-centered discipleship and teaching regarding sexuality and gender. Ellen loves ministry to women and is most passionate about mentoring, teaching God’s Word and spiritually nurturing others to walk deeply with Jesus. New Life Presbyterian in Dresher, PA, is her home church.
Stephanie Formenti
Stephanie Formenti (MATS, Covenant Theological Seminary) is vice president for student development at Covenant College where she oversees residence life, student life, athletics, student success, and health services. She cares deeply about the formation of students and previously served in the chapel department at Covenant for 6 years where she led discipleship initiatives. She graduated from Covenant College with a B.A. in history and then went on to earn a Masters in Theological Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary.
Stephanie and her husband, Gustavo, have three children, Gabi, Lucas and Jonny. She is a member at New City Fellowship East Lake where her husband is a pastor.
Christina Fox
Christina received her undergraduate degree from Covenant College and her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is a retreat speaker, content editor for enCourage, and the author of multiple books, including Closer Than a Sister: How Union with Christ Helps Friendships to Flourish, Sufficient Hope: Gospel Meditations and Prayers for Moms, and Like Our Father: How God Parents Us and Why that Matters for Our Parenting. She also works in alumni relations for Covenant College. Christina prefers her coffee black and from a French press, enjoys antiquing, hiking, traveling, and reading. Tara Gibbs
Tara Gibbs is a wife, mother, and writer. She spent 19 years in San Antonio, Texas ministering alongside her husband Tom to the city of San Antonio at Redeemer Presbyterian Church. Tara has authored Bible studies and taught internationally on women’s ministry. Tara and Tom recently moved to St. Louis, Missouri to serve Covenant Theological Seminary where Tom currently serves as president. Tara has parented four children, led Bible studies, practiced hospitality, worked with the San Antonio area public schools, worked in water conservation, and served as Director of Redeemer’s women’s ministry. Tara loves running, reading, everything outdoors, Tex-Mex food, and fall in St. Louis.
Christine Gordon
Christine B. Gordon, MATS, is wife to Michael and mother of three. She is the co-founder of At His Feet Studies and a visiting instructor at Covenant Theological Seminary. She loves to walk, make music with other people, and share bad puns with her family.
Sue Harris
Sue Harris serves the congregation at Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church (Birmingham) as the Women’s Ministry Director. She has a passion for spiritual formation as she earned her Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta in 2014. She served Mission to the World for nine years challenging PCA congregations in missions as well as serving missionaries on the field through encouragement, teaching and short-term teams. Previously, she spent 12 years as a college women’s basketball coach, earning her MBA at Texas Woman’s University.
Karen Hodge
Karen Hodge serves as the Coordinator for PCA Women’s Ministry, where she seeks to connect women and churches to one another and to sound resources. She is also having the time of her life serving alongside her husband, pastor and best friend Chris, at Village Seven Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, CO. They have two adult children, Anna Grace Botka and Haddon Hodge. She is the host of the enCourage podcast and along with Susan Hunt, authored Transformed: Life-taker to Life-giver, Life-giving Leadership, and Breathe: The Life-giving Oxygen of the Lord’s Prayer.
Stephanie Hubach
Stephanie O. Hubach is a Research Fellow in Disability Ministries in affiliation with Covenant Theological Seminary. From 2007-2016 she served as the Founding Director of Mission to North America’s Special Needs Ministries (Presbyterian Church in America). She is also a founding member of the Lancaster Christian Council on Disability (LCCD). Steph is the author of Parenting & Disabilities: Abiding in God’s Presence (P&R Publishing, 2021), Same Lake, Different Boat: Coming Alongside People Touched by Disability (P&R Publishing, 2006, Revised & Expanded Edition 2020), and All Things Possible: Calling Your Church Leadership to Disability Ministry (Joni and Friends, 2007). She has been published in ByFaith magazine, Focus on the Family magazine, and Breakpoint online magazine and produced a Christian Education DVD series based on Same Lake, Different Boat. Susan Hunt
Susan is the widow of Gene Hunt, a retired PCA pastor, and they have 3 adult children and 12 grandchildren. She is the former PCA Coordinator for Women’s Ministry and served as a consultant to CDM. Susan is the author and co-author of several books for women’s ministries, including Spiritual Mothering and Titus 2 Tools (CDM 2016), as well as TRUE, the CDM discipleship curriculum series on biblical womanhood for teen girls. She has also authored several books for children.
Sarah Ivill
Sarah Ivill (ThM, Dallas Theological Seminary) has served at the Howard G. Hendricks Center for Christian Leadership, in Bible Study Fellowship, and as Director of Women’s Ministry in the local church, among other leadership positions. Sarah is also the author of several Bible studies and books. In addition, she is a contributing blogger for enCourage, and has a regular blog with the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals. She also enjoys speaking at women’s retreats and conferences. A member of Christ Covenant Church, Sarah lives with her husband and four children in Matthews, North Carolina.
Barbaranne Kelly
Barbaranne Kelly is a reader, writer, retreat speaker, hospitality enthusiast, and blogger at Grateful. She and her husband Jim are members of Christ Presbyterian Church in New Braunfels, Texas where she serves on the women’s ministry team and leads women’s Bible studies. God has blessed Barbaranne and Jim with two sons and three daughters, two sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, and four delightful grandsons. In all her roles it is Barbaranne’s sincere hope that she and those to whom she ministers may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge.
Becky Kiern
Becky Kiern is a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary (2011) and a current doctoral student at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Currently living in Nashville, TN, she enjoys teaching the Bible whenever she has the opportunity. Alice Kim
Alice Kim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Emmaus Counseling and Consulting Services (emmausccs.com) where she offers gospel-centered therapy to the DC Metro area. She finds deep fulfillment in engaging people’s stories and bearing witness to the good work of God to redeem and restore. She has certificates in New Testament and Old Testament from Reformed Theological Seminary, DC. She is married to Sam Kim, a PCA teaching elder pastor and they raise their two young adult daughters. Her past times include treasure hunting at thrift stores, sharing a cup of coffee with friends, and watching sports with her family.
Shea Patrick
Shea Patrick is a former Alabama lawyer, who now works as a public school Reading Interventionist. She lives in Orangeburg, South Carolina. She and her pastor-husband currently have five children, including two adopted from foster care. Shea served on the National Women’s team for the PCA as the Regional Advisor for the Mid-Atlantic. She loves her church, Trinity Presbyterian, and serves with the kids, music, missions, and women’s ministry. She was a contributor to “Hinged: Vitally Connected to Christ and His Church” (CDM, January 2020).
Katie Polski
Katie is a writer, teacher, and speaker. She is married to Chris, a PCA pastor at Trinity church in St. Louis, MO, and is a mother to three wonderful kids. Katie works as the Director of Music Ministries and Special Events at Trinity and writes for several Christian ministries and organizations. Sharon Rockwell
Sharon retired from her career first as a chemist and then as a regulatory affairs consultant to the medical device industry. She has served on the women’s ministry team at Grace Presbyterian Church in her hometown of Yorba Linda, California, and has worked as the west coast regional advisor for the PCA. She and her husband have 4 adult children, and 9 young grandchildren (current score girls 4, boys 5). In her spare time Sharon enjoys cooking, traveling, bird watching and raising orchids.
Elizabeth Turnage
Elizabeth Reynolds Turnage is a gospel life and legacy coach, author, and speaker. She helps people live, prepare, and share their legacy to bring hope to future generations. Elizabeth co-founded the Numbering Your Days Network to share gospel encouragement for aging, caregiving, legacy, grief, and end-of-life and authored Preparing for Glory: Biblical Answers to 40 Questions about Living and Dying in the Hope of Heaven, coming from P&R in early 2024. Elizabeth and her husband, Kip Turnage, enjoy feasting and sharing good stories with their large family of four adult children, three children-in-law, and three young grandchildren.
Susan Tyner
Susan Tyner serves as Women’s Ministry Coordinator at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Fort Worth, Texas. She is author of What a Royal Mess: A Study of 1 and 2 Kings as well as What’s SHE Doing Here? and a regular contributor for the EnCourage blog and podcast. Susan enjoys speaking at conferences and retreats, but also enjoys a lazy Saturday cooking a big pot a gumbo. Susan and her husband, Lee, have five children, and an almost empty nest.
