Pey Chu (MDiv, Westminster Theological Seminary) is wife to a teaching elder, mother of four and biblical counselor with Cross Care Counseling. She delights in serving with the women’s ministry at her church, teaching Bible studies and watching Christ work in her life and in the lives of the people around her. Before moving to Chicagoland, she served on staff with Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) for 20 years, spending 10 of those years in East Asia working with college students and indigenous churches. Pey was a contributor to Beyond the Roles: A Biblical Foundation for Women and Ministry and on the enCourage blog. In her free time, Pey enjoys knitting useless items and eating bonbons.

Originally from Chattanooga, TN, I now call New York City home. Whether I am mothering my four daughters, editing a sermon for my pastor-husband, writing Bible studies for our church or meeting a friend for coffee, I believe what you say and how you say it is important.

Sharing words with one another is the way we create relationship. Singing those words to music carves a deep path to connection, too. Words, meaning, relationship, connection…all of these are reasons I write and sing.

I also have some good news to sing about that has to do with Jesus. While a lot of my songs have more whispers of faith than overt language, I finished a new project of songs written through the Biblical book of Lamentations. “SHE WEEPS,” is a collection of songs that gives the Christian an opportunity to cry out to God in their pain and struggle.

Whether I get to share music with you digitally, in a house show, or leading worship, I hope you are encouraged by what you hear.

Workshop Leaders:

Tami Resch loves to equip and inspire women to take the hope of the gospel to their own heart and to the hearts of others. In 2005, she co-founded www.parakaleo.us where she created the Basic: Gospel Lens for Life and Alongside Conversations trainings, providing women with practical tools and skills for bringing gospel freedom to their hearts and gospel dynamics into one-on-one conversations and group experiences.  Tami also co-authored Beyond Duct Tape Holding the Heart Together in a Life of Ministry. She worked alongside husband, Steve, planting Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church in 1997 where he recently finished his 25th and final year as senior pastor. In 2022, Tami and Steve began a new adventure together www.alongsideu.org mentoring leaders in ministry. She is a mom of 3 adult children and is known as “Jami” to their 3 grandkids and grand-dogs. Tami is a connoisseur of ‘chick flicks (especially Korean dramas) and she enjoys organizing closets and cupboards, being in the sun, Formula 1, and bike riding.

CB Campano is on staff at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, Fl, serving as the congregational Care coordinator, women’s ministry spiritual formation coordinator, and biblical counselor. Her husband Frank has been a ruling elder at Covenant for over 20 years. Last year she became a development team leader for WE Ruling Elder Wives. She loves WE because women married to elders serve such a crucial role in the church as they support, encourage, and help our husbands fulfill their callings as shepherds of Christ’s church, a glorious yet oftentimes difficult calling. It is a blessing to interact women throughout our denomination who seek to be faithful “helpmeets” to their husbands and who love encouraging and helping other women to do the same. To CB, this is WE!
One of CB’s favorite things to do is to have friends, family, dear sisters in Christ in her home to share life together—usually with lots of food, genuine conversation, and laughter involved. In particular, she loves hosting gatherings outside, formerly on her deck and moving forward on their brand new patio. To her there are few things more enjoyable than having a meal outside with people you love under twinkling lights.  She imagines it to be a veiled picture of the day we will be feasting at the marriage supper of the Lamb together. What a glorious day that will be!
CB looks forward to growing involvement in WE and to interacting with many of you on video calls and in person as the Lord allows. May the Lord richly bless each of you in life and ministry, all for His glory!
