Book description:
A Bible study for wives of church officers.
As a pastor’s wife for over forty years, Jane Ross, has lived, studied, and taught the truths she shares in Living Relationally Through Truth. While you sit with Jane in this study, you can relax in the fellowship of knowing none of us are adequate within ourselves to be godly women, much less wives of church officers. Because the demands of family, church, and work are overwhelming at times, we need to remind ourselves often of the rich truths of how very much we are loved by God and that our only adequacy is in Christ.
What a gift to sit alongside a seasoned pastor’s wife like Jane Ross who has faithfully loved and served Christ and His Church for decades. Grab this book, your Bible, and another elder’s wife and discover together with fresh eyes the beauty and blessing of being called alongside your husband. – Karen Hodge, Coordinator of Women’s Ministries for the Presbyterian Church in America
Author bio: Jane Ross is the wife of Teaching Elder Michael Ross who actively pastored thirty-five years. Their three church experiences included a church plant, a middle-sized church, and a large congregation. In those churches, Jane mentored women, taught Bible studies, helped with prayer and children’s ministries and spoke at women’s retreats. Jane also taught high school math for twenty-one years in private, public, and church-affiliated schools. Since retirement, Michael has served in five interim positions in which Jane has been actively supportive. They have four married children and twelve grandchildren.
