No Empty Word: Confident and Compelled
A Study on 2 Corinthians
. . . comfort in affliction . . . life from death . . . strength in weakness . . . and a life of extravagant grace and generosity flowing from a heart deeply gripped by the gospel
The words of 2 Corinthians are significant and applicable for the Church today as she navigates relationships, opposition, reconciliation, affliction, and living in the eternal hope of what is to come. No Empty Word: Confident and Compelled examines the transforming truths found in 2 Corinthians that change our perspective and value system, giving us Christ-confidence rather than self-confidence and compelling us to live faithfully in Him.
Paula Miles paints a beautiful picture of the confidence we are to have in Christ as we reflect on His work of redemption and reconciliation. She goes on to remind us of how this great work is to compel us to live in community, to really know the gospel, and to spend and be spent for lost souls. This study is well worth the investment of your time.
