Nurtured: God’s Tender Care for New and Expectant Mothers

This 9-week Bible study will connect expectant and new mothers to scriptural passages to reveal the One whose tender love strengthens them for the beautiful task He has given them.

Questions in this group study are meant to have verbal answers, allowing for no written preparation and a mostly hands-free experience. It’s a Bible study meant for the crazy-full days of baby-juggling life. Moms are encouraged to come just as they are—well-rested or bleary-eyed, encouraged or overwhelmed.

Author bio: Annalisa Smith trained as an elementary teacher and taught at international schools in Asia from 2004-2015. A husband and several moves later, she began seminary studies and became a new mother in the same year. This study began as a class project in her daughter’s earliest days. She now serves as Family Nurture Coordinator at Covenant Seminary. Annalisa loves to teach preschoolers about the Bible, finding ways to communicate big truths with small words. She also enjoys sharing moments of laughter with her husband and delightful daughter.
