MISSION

Women’s Ministry International (WMI) connects U.S. women (trained and discipled in a reformed, covenantal theology of women’s ministry) with international pastors, church planters and women leaders to strengthen churches in every nation.

STRUCTURE

Women’s Ministry International serves under the oversight of PCA CDM.

  • The WMI Executive Leadership Team (ELT) manages recruiting, processes/procedures, reporting, financial accountability and shepherding of all leaders and partner team members.”
  • Women’s Ministry International (WMI) connects U.S. women (trained and discipled in a reformed, covenantal theology of women’s ministry) with international pastors, church planters and women leaders to strengthen churches in every nation.
  • The WMI At-Large Team is comprised of the ELT six Continent Coordinators (Africa, Asia, Australia/New Zealand, Europe, South America, North America), and currently deployed Advisors (both Entrusted & Faithful).
  • Each Continent Coordinator provides oversight for partner churches located on her continent.
  • Continent Coordinators report to the International Team Coordinator on the ELT.

A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY

Connie Miller has been a PCA Women’s Ministries trainer for more than 20 years. During that time, she has had the privilege of teaching the rich, deeply theological and wholistic content from Teaching Biblically, Living Covenantally to hundreds of women at PCA churches in the United States.  As the wife of a missions pastor, Connie has also enjoyed meeting, encouraging, training and shepherding women in many other countries. During those travels, pastors and women in the churches routinely asked for more…more content, more relationships, more encouragement and shepherding. Those requests, the scope of the need, and Connie’s limited availability became the impetus for Women’s Ministries International as it exists today.

OUR NOMENCLATURE

In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul exhorts: “What you have heard from me…entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” With Paul’s words as our foundational text, WMI refers to our Partner churches in the United States as “Entrusted Partners.” The women on our Entrusted Partner teams learn and grow through the WMI Discipling Partnership Pathway so that they can share the priceless treasure of Word-based teaching that they have received. Our “Faithful Partners” are our international sisters, and as relationships between the two teams develop, there is a beautiful exchange of Word-based, relationally-driven ministry that extends across the globe!
