OUR MOTTO

Equipping the global church through the intentional discipleship of women, connecting people to people and churches to churches

Our motto articulates two of our core values:

• A strategic effort to strengthen the global church
• The “better together” bond between international churches as they develop discipling relationships

We are privileged to assist churches from the US as they link arms with   churches in other countries to grow together in their commitment to Christ, to the Word, to church and to their communities.  Our deep desire is that women across the globe will be connected to one another and to Christ as they seek to live out the Great Commission.

OUR STRATEGY

The Entrusted Partner Church Pastor identifies women with the vision and capacity to equip others. WMI prepares the Entrusted Partner Team to serve their Faithful Partner Team, deploying a cultural, contextualized pathway for word-based and relationally driven training as a foundation for women’s ministries.

OUR PARTNERSHIPS

The heartbeat of WMI is our partnerships. Each partnership is between a US church (called the “Entrusted Partner Church”) and a church in another country (called the “Faithful Partner Church”). Most Entrusted Partner Churches anticipate their WMI Partnership as an extension of their missions ministry. Toward that end, a Faithful Partner Church is often one with whom there is an established relationship that might be fortified by an intentional discipling opportunity for women.

Partnerships require almost a year to be fully engaged. Our hope is that each Partnership lasts three to five years (formally). WMI plans to “launch” six to eight new Discipling Partnerships each year!

OUR PATHWAY

Both Partner Churches are required to follow a detailed on-boarding process [see our on-boarding video] that usually takes several months to complete and hinges on the robust approval of Pastors and Senior staff. Once approved and on-board, the Entrusted Partner Church:

• Identifies a Team and a Team Coordinator
• Attends an Entrusted Partner Equipping Conference (offered bi-annually)
• Begins its own months-long discipleship process using the Thinking Biblically Living Covenantally Curriculum as well as the WMI Core Curriculum
• Under the leadership of a WMI Advisor, launches ZOOM meetings with their Entrusted Partner Team to share what they have learned (2 Timothy 2:2)

These are the first of ten steps to the WMI Discipling Partnership Pathway, each detailed in a manual and shepherded by a WMI Advisor. The Pathway culminates (but doesn’t END!) in an international conference hosted by the Faithful Partner Church, led by the Entrusted Partner Church Team.

Ultimately, the goal of a WMI Partnership is for the Faithful Partner Church Team to become confident and equipped to be established as an Entrusted Partner Church for their own country, “entrusting what they have learned to faithful women who will be able to teach others also”!
