  • Enthusiastic support of Pastors and Elders
  • Active participation in PCA or in PCA Women’s Ministries in particular
  • Familiarity with CDM resources, especially women’s ministry resources
  • Trained in/open to training in the “Thinking Biblically, Living Covenantally” curriculum/philosophy

HOW MANY WOMEN SHOULD WE PLAN FOR IN FORMING A TEAM AS AN ENTRUSTED PARTNER CHURCH?

  • The number of team members will vary, but typically a team may be as few as four women.
  • We encourage Entrusted Partner Churches to keep in mind that the WMI Partnership is a long-term relationship, lasting at least three to four years formally. Therefore, it is wise to recruit a team with enough members to sustain the relationship over the course of that time.

WHAT TRAINING IS REQUIRED FOR THE ENTRUSTED PARTNER CHURCH TEAM?

  • WMI hosts a bi-annual Entrusted Partner Equipping Conference for Entrusted Partner Church Teams.
  • The Conference runs from Thursday evening through Saturday lunch and includes theological, practical and international ministry training.
  • Additionally, Entrusted Partner Teams will meet monthly for eight or nine months to “Dig Deeper” into the discipleship training as they prepare to engage with their Faithful Partner Church Team.

WHAT SUPPORT/MATERIALS CAN AN ENTRUSTED PARTNER CHURCH EXPECT FROM WMI?

  • Each Entrusted Partner Church will be under the oversight/care of an Advisor from our Executivel Leadership Team to assist with training, decision making, problem solving, etc.
  • The 10-step process to “launch” is detailed in our “Discipling Partnership Pathway Manual.”
  • The Conference runs from Thursday evening through Saturday lunch and includes theological, practical and international ministry training.

HOW IS AN ENTRUSTED PARTNER CHURCH “MATCHED” WITH A FAITHFUL PARTNER CHURCH?

  • Most Entrusted Partner Churches anticipate their WMI Partnership as an extension of their missions ministry.
  • Toward that end, a Faithful Partner Church is often one with whom there is an established relationship that might be fortified by an intentional discipling opportunity for women.
  • These partnerships are highly encouraged by WMI leadership*.
  • In circumstances where there are as yet no formal international church partners, WMI will match an Entrusted Partner Church team with a Faithful Partner Church who has expressed interest.

WHAT COSTS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH BEING AN ENTRUSTED PARTNER CHURCH?

  • Costs associated with the Entrusted Partner Equipping Conference are the responsibilty of the Entrusted Partner Church.
  • International travel will be at the expense of the Entrusted Partner Church members/raising support.
