Faithful Partners
WMI invites reformed churches around the world to join our ministry as “Faithful Partners.” Faithful Partners typically connect to WMI in one of two ways:
- An Entrusted Church Partner from the United States has an established relationship with an international church whom they hope to invite into a WMI Discipling Partnership. The Entrusted Church submits a request to WMI on behalf of their hoped for Faithful Church (international).
- An International church becomes aware of WMI and seeks to join the ministry as a Faithful Partner. WMI may assist this Faithful Church in identifying an Entrusted Partner with whom they might launch a Discipling Partnership.
After an extensive season of training for the Entrusted Church Team in the United States, they will begin meeting with their Faithful Church partners by ZOOM. They will usually “launch” their partnership by meeting monthly via ZOOM to read, study, and discuss the material in the WMI Dig Deeper training. In particular, the Faithful Church Team will be thinking for their women, in their cultural context, as they study the content in Dig Deeper. This season takes place over nine to twelve months.
As the teams become acquainted, both individually and as church-ministries, they will begin discussing how best to encourage and equip the broader community of women within the Faithful Church body. Working with their WMI Advisors, they will strategize for an in-country conference hosted by the Faithful Church, led by the Entrusted Church team in partnership with their Faithful Team friends.*
Once a Faithful Team has “launched,” they will be shepherded through the entire Discipling Pathway Process by a Faithful Advisor. She will help them with protocol, decisions, planning, and coordinating—both with their Entrusted Team and with the broader WMI ministry.
The WMI Discipling Partnership is a ministry from one church to another church. This a significant foundational principle of the WMI ministry mission. Our team, and our resources, are available in whatever way will be most helpful for all of our Partner churches. Every partnership will be unique, but our goal is always to breathe life into both churches. We’re always available to encourage, assist and advocate!
