Entrusted Partners

WMI invites PCA churches in the United States to join our ministry as “Entrusted Partners.” An Entrusted Partner church will recruit and train a team of women so that 1) their church is strengthened and encouraged by the team’s growing spiritual maturity and 2) the team is prepared to invest in women in another country in a partner church (Faithful church) for several years.

Typically, each Entrusted Church has an established relationship with an international church whom they hope to invite into a WMI Discipling Partnership. Toward that end, the Entrusted Church team will participate in a nine-to-twelve-month discipleship training led by various members of the WMI ELT. The discipleship training regimen includes:

  • Entrusted Team Equipping Conference – a three day on-site training for the entire team with Entrusted Teams from other churches
  • Dig Deeper – a monthly meeting for the Entrusted Team to study, discuss and personally apply the biblical training content
  • Core Curriculum Study – the Entrusted Team will read/discuss five books from our Core Curriculum. Some aspect of training may be undertaken with the Faithful Team.

Once an Entrusted Team has “launched,” they will be shepherded through the entire Discipling Pathway Process by an Entrusted Advisor. She will help them with protocol, decisions, planning, and coordinating — both with their Faithful Team and with the broader WMI ministry. Typically within nine months, the Entrusted Partner Team will begin meeting monthly by ZOOM with their Faithful Partner Team to share what they have been learning, and to begin to consider how they might plan for and lead an in-country conference for the women of the Faithful Partner Church.*

The WMI Discipling Partnership is a ministry from one church to another church. This a significant foundational principle of the WMI ministry mission. Our team, and our resources, are available in whatever way will be most helpful for all of our Partner churches. Every partnership will be unique, but our goal is always to breathe life into both churches. We’re always available to encourage, assist and advocate!
